Just a few reminders for you about your math classroom
¨
Please no
food or drink in the classroom!!! -- SCHOOL RULE
¨
Please respect my desk space, do not write on
things that aren’t yours or look at things that do not pertain to you. Stay off of my computer! This is to protect the privacy of other
students, teachers, and my personal things.
No sitting in my chair. No need
to check grades – it can wait!
¨
iPads – please do not abuse the privilege of
having these. Remember everyone can see things
that are done on them. When asked to put
it away – do it! No “just a second” attitude.
¨
Be prepared for class.
o
Book – have it at your desk ready to go!
o
Calculator – I would recommend a TI -30XII.
o
Notebook or paper
o
Writing
Utensil!!! Points lost if you
continually don’t.
¨
Passes – please ask to use the restroom right
when you walk into the classroom. Go
quickly!! You will be counted tardy if
you continually take long bathroom breaks and are late to class. If you need to go during class please wait
until all instruction is done and then ask.
¨
Grading Policy:
o
All homework assignments are worth 10pts.
o
All tests are worth 100pts (goes in the
gradebook x2)
o
All Mid-Chapter Quizzes are worth 60pts.
o
Semester Test – 20% of grade.
o
Word Wednesday – 100 points at the end of the
semester.
¨
All quizzes and tests can be retaken before or
after school or during GRIP.
¨
All homework is generally due the following
class period unless otherwise told. Late
work will be accepted until the chapter test is taken. After that it will not be accepted. 10% off for late papers. Stay on top of assignments during each
chapter.
¨
I am usually here at school about 7:30 every
morning and stay most nights until 4:00.
If you need more help outside of these times just let me know. I am more than willing to be here to help you!
¨
Stay on top of your assignments – do not get
behind!! Make sure to ask for help if
you need it. I am more than happy to
help you!!!
¨
If you ever need anything and do not want to
ask in class or are gone and would like your assignment please feel free to
